Honoring the philanthropic legacy of the Mosse family through support of the arts, education, and a broad program
of innovative charitable works.

The Mosse Foundation, led by co-Trustees Roger and Hans Strauch, is dedicated to supporting cultural and academic institutions around the globe that champion individual liberties and collective security. The Mosses built one of the largest publishing empires in early 20th century Berlin and were patrons of the arts, education, and charities. The German-Jewish family were expelled from the country in 1933, their assets seized, and the Mosse children emigrated to America where they made significant contributions to their chosen fields of childhood development, history, and particle physics. Today Roger and Hans, descendants of the Mosses by marriage, continue the family’s distinguished legacy of philanthropy with the Mosse Foundation.
